Who we are

Koesion is a software architecture consulting practice operating from Quebec, Canada. For any question about this policy or about the personal information we hold, write to contact@koesion.com.

Information you give us

The contact form on this site collects your name, work email address, and message. Two optional fields — your organization and the topic of your enquiry — are collected only if you fill them in.

We use this information for one purpose: to read and respond to your enquiry, and to carry on the resulting conversation about a possible engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the basis of a contact form submission.

Submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and are retained in our business email for as long as the enquiry and any resulting client relationship remain relevant.

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which confirms the submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. To do this, Turnstile receives your IP address and basic technical signals from your browser. Cloudflare processes this data as part of providing the service; it is not used by us for any other purpose.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors reach the site. This sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information including your approximate location (derived from your IP address), your device and browser type, and the pages you visit.

We use this only in aggregate, to make editorial and structural decisions about the site. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data, and we do not combine it with contact form submissions.

You can opt out at any time using Google’s browser add-on, your browser’s cookie controls, or any tracking-protection feature built into your browser.

Hosting and logs

This site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes requests to the site and may keep short-lived technical logs — including IP addresses — for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes.

Your rights

Under Quebec’s Law 25 and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK GDPR, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct it if it is inaccurate, or to delete it. You may also withdraw consent to any processing that relies on consent.

Send any of these requests to contact@koesion.com. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires — 30 days under Law 25. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, or with your local supervisory authority.

International transfers

Our service providers — Netlify, Resend, Cloudflare, and Google — operate infrastructure outside Quebec, including in the United States and the European Union. Information submitted through this site may therefore be stored or processed outside your province or country, under the contractual protections those providers offer.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and revise the date shown above.
